Peace.

I found a good post on a forum.

I hope it is OK to share with people here.

Topic: [ Why we need Hadith for? 10 Q&A ]

Salaamun all,

Question 1:
1:6 "Guide us the straight way."

Answer 1:
17:9 "VERILY, this AlQur'an shows the way to all that is most upright, and gives the believers who do good deeds the glad tiding that theirs will be a great reward;"

Question 2:
Butttt..., we cannot find everything in the book of Allah.

Answer 2:
6:38 "although there is no beast that walks on earth and no bird that flies on its two wings which is not creature  like yourselves: no single thing have We neglected in AlKitaab. And once again: Unto their Sustainer shall they  be gathered."

16:89 "for one Day We shall raise up within every community a witness against them from among themselves. And thee have We brought forth to bear witness regarding those, inasmuch as We have bestowed from on high upon thee, step by step, this divine writ, to make everything clear, and to provide guidance and grace and a glad tiding unto all who have surrendered themselves to God."

Question 3:
Buttt..., what is wrong if we accept AlQuraan and AlHadith together?

Answer 3:
18:26 Say: "God knows best how long they remained [there]. His [alone] is the knowledge of the hidden reality of the heavens and the earth: how well does He see and hear! No guardian have they apart from Him, since He allots to no one a share in His rule!"

4:82 "Will they not, then, try to understand this AlQur’an? Had it issued from any but Allah, they would surely have found in it many an inner contradiction!"

Question 4:
Buttt..., Allah ask us "Ati-Allaha warRasool". How would we do 'Itaa'at of Rasool" then?

Answer 4:
31:14 “And ‘We have enjoined upon man goodness towards his parents: his mother bore him by bearing strain upon strain, and his utter dependence on her lasted two years: be grateful towards Me and towards thy parents, with Me is all journeys’ end."

31:15 “‘yet should they endeavour to make thee ascribe divinity, side by side with Me, to something which thy mind cannot accept, obey them not [fala tuti'yhuma]; but bear them company in this world’s life with kindness, and follow the path of those who turn towards Me. In the end, unto Me you all must return; and thereupon I shall make you understand all that you were doing.’"

If anyone don't have their parent [expired] then how will he obey them? Making sense? Now when Prophet Mohammed is no more, how will you obey him?

Question 5:
Buttt...., If we get in trouble in Yaum AlQiyaamat for not following Hadith? Then?

Answer 5:
25:30 "AND the Apostle will say: “O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have come to regard this AlQur’an as something  discarded!”

No question of Hadith, but definitely get into trouble if we don't follow AlQuraan.

Question 6:
Then, if Allah ask us about Hadith after questioning about AlQuraan?

Answer 6:
39:68 "And the trumpet will be sounded, and all that are in the heavens and all that are on earth will fall down senseless, unless they be such as God wills. And then it will sound again - and lo! standing, they will begin to see!"

39:69 "And the earth will shine bright with her Sustainer’s light. And Al Kitaab will be laid bare, and all the prophets will be brought forward, and all witnesses; and judgment will be passed on them all in justice. And they will not be wronged,"

39:70 "for every human being will be repaid in full for whatever he has done: and He is fully aware of all that they do."

Judgment will be totally based on Al Kitaab.

Question 7:
Buttt..., if this the case Allah would have punished on following Hadith.

Answer 7:
20:134 "For had We destroyed them by means of a chastisement ere this, they would indeed say "O our Sustainer! If only Thou hadst sent an apostle unto us, we would have followed your Aayaats rather than be humiliated and disgraced!"

39:55 "And ere that suffering comes upon you of a sudden, without your being aware, follow the most goodly that has been revealed unto you by your Sustainer,"

39:56 "lest any human being should say, “Alas for me for having been remiss in what is due to God, and for having been indeed one of those who scoffed!”

39:57 "or lest he should say, “If God had but guided me, I would surely have been among those who are conscious of Him!”

39:58 "or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering, “Would that I had a second chance, so that I could be among the doers of good!”

39:59 “Yea, indeed! My Aayaats did come unto thee; but thou gavest them the lie, and wert filled with false pride, and wert among those who deny the truth!”

39:71 "And those who were bent on denying the truth will be urged on in throngs towards hell till, when they reach it, its gates will be opened, and its keepers will ask them, “Have there not come to you apostles from among yourselves, who conveyed to you your Sustainer’s messages and warned you of the coming of this your Day?” They will answer: “Yea, indeed!” But the sentence of suffering will have fallen due upon the deniers of the truth;"

Question 8:
Thennn...., You mean only AlQuraan, no Hadith at all? I am confused!

Answer 8:
39:45 "And yet, whenever God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who will not believe in the life to come contract with bitter aversion - whereas, when those are mentioned side by side with Him, lo, they rejoice!"

40:12 “This because, whenever the One God was invoked, you denied this truth; whereas, when divinity was ascribed to aught beside Him, you believed! But all judgment rests with God, the Exalted, the Great!”

17:45 "But whenever thou recitest the Qur'an, We place an invisible barrier between thee and those who will not believe in the life to come:"

17:46 "for, over their hearts We have laid veils which prevent them from grasping its purport, and into their ears, deafness. And so, whenever thou dost mention, while reciting the Qur'an, thy Sustainer as the one and only Divine Being, they turn their backs in aversion."

Question 9:
Butttt...., Prophet Mohammed has shown us how to perform Salaat and Hajj, etc... Right?

Answer 9:
6:114 "Am I, then, to look unto anyone but God for judgment, when it is He who has bestowed upon you from on high this divine writ, clearly spelling out the truth?" And those unto whom We have vouchsafed revelation aforetime know that this one, too, has been bestowed from on high, step by step, by thy Sustainer. Be not, then, among the doubters"

5:43 "But how is it that they ask thee for judgment seeing that they have the Torah, containing Allah's injunctions - and thereafter turn away? Such as these, then, are no believers."

And we have AlQuraan, containing Allah's injunctions

Question 10:
Butttt....!

Answer 10:
7:175 "And tell them what happens to him to whom We vouchsafe Our messages and who then discards them: Satan catches up with him, and he strays, like so many others, into grievous error."

7:176 "Now had We so willed, We could indeed have exalted him by means of those: but he always clung to the earth and followed but his own desires. Thus, his parable is that of an dog: if thou approach him threateningly, he will pant with his tongue lolling; and. if thou leave him alone, he will pant with his tongue lolling. Such is the parable of those who are bent on giving the lie to Our messages. Tell, then, this story, so that they might take thought."

7:177 "Evil is the example of people who are bent on giving the lie to Our messages: for it is against their own selves that they are sinning!"

7:178 "He whom God guides, he alone is truly guided; whereas those whom He lets go astray-it is they, they who are the losers!"

7:179 "And most certainly have We destined for hell many of the invisible beings and men who have hearts with which they fail to grasp the truth, and eyes with which they fail to see, and ears with which they fail to hear. They are like cattle -nay, they are even less conscious of the right way: it is they, they who are the heedless!"

May Allah guide us all towards the truth that He agrees with.
